Augustinian Fathers and Their Mission

Order of Saint Augustine or commonly known as 'Augustinian Fathers' is a world-wide Catholic Religious community originated by the time of St. Augustine (354AD- 430AD) and it took the present institutional form from 1244 AD onwards by which imparting, human, Christian values like love, mutual friendship, interiority, searching for Truth by living together in the communities and through the services entrusted by the Catholic Church like looking after parishes, schools and Universities, hospitals and similar charitable institutions according to the need of the place.

In the field of education our aim is to contribute effectively to the advancement of society and nation building and to provide a sound institutional environment conducive to all-round development of students in the areas of academic, value system, personality and physical so as to make them valued members of the society.
