Shenbagam Matriculation Higher Secondary School was started in 1994 by Mr. Selvaraj in his attempt to uplift the people of Pollachi and the surrounding villages by imparting quality education. In 2006 Mr. Selvaraj handed over the school to the Augustinian fathers. Since then the Augustinian fathers have been working with the aim of moulding this school into an Internationally acceptable School.
Shenbagam School aims at an integrated holistic development of the child entrusted to its care. We believe in the generosity of God and accept the fact that God is the only educator and all educators become true instruments in His hands. It is the duty of an educator to help the child to grow and develop the inborn talents inherent in a child. We believe that no education is a true education unless what is perceived by the intellect filters down to the whole person by his or her heart and soul.
