Shenbagam Matriculation Higher Secondary School was started in 1994 by Mr. Selvaraj in his attempt to uplift the people of Pollachi and the surrounding villages by imparting quality education. In 2006 Mr. Selvaraj handed over the school to the Augustinian fathers. Since then the Augustinian fathers have been working with the aim of moulding this school into an Internationally acceptable School.

This service oriented school is open to all the sections of the society. The medium of instruction is English with Tamil as the first language.
